Kathryn Rocha Rabuy, LMSW

Combining a decade's worth of experience in public health, reproductive health, sexuality education, and community organizing, I prioritize equity and the human experience in my work with all clients. I operate from an approach where dignity and compassion are paramount to the emotional space I hold for others. My specialty lies in creating a safe space for my clients to process difficult emotions accompanying various life experiences, especially experiences that metabolize into a hectic inner and outer world.

I specialize in working with children and adolescents facing challenges in and out of school. I also work with adolescents and adults beginning to explore the intergenerational trauma associated with being first generation Americans. I have also spent a large part of my career working with victims of sexual assault; I prioritize sex positive, anti-oppression work.

My therapeutic skills are rooted in both trauma informed and relational approaches. We all have tools to navigate the complexities of our experience and there is such beauty in its exploration in a therapeutic space. This work proves to be a constant reminder of our innate strength and resilience as human beings.
